As a Plant Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repair, and replacement of all plant machinery (compressed air systems, heat re-claimers, boilers, HVAC, water softeners, etc.). The Plant Maintenance Manager will utilise proper skilled techniques to assure the safe, efficient operation of all plant machinery and document all work performed.You must maintain compliance with all Federal, State, and local laws and regulations that affect the plant operations, and comply with Federal regulations and company safety policies and practices to promote safety awareness in the plant. You will perform root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures, take required corrective and preventative actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions. The successful applicant will work with the production personnel to schedule preventative and break-down maintenance. You will be responsible for three direct reports, scheduling working hours to cover 7-day operations, and supervising the work of the engineers. This is a hands-on management role, which will require you to bend, twist, reach, pull, push, and routinely lift 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. You will be expected to meet operating and financial goals and customer needs.Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of a 2-year college degree (or equivalent) and 5 years of maintenance work experience. Must be comfortable in using Microsoft Outlook and Office applications; Possess a knowledge of Inverter drives, Controllers, AC and DC power supplies, HVAC systems, mechanical and electrical engineering; Able to read electrical wiring diagrams, control logic, and mechanical drawings. Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude; basic knowledge of required codes; ability to plan ahead and adhere to a proper schedule; ability to communicate effectively verbally and written.
