Regional Sales Manager Trainee

Fire-Dex, a Medina, OH based leader in the manufacturing of fire fighters’ apparel, has successfully sustained double-digit growth during a very slow economy.  With a future that looks very promising, it is critical for us to hire a highly motivated and effective Regional Sales Manager Trainee to support two outside territories.  The candidate must reside in the Cleveland or Akron area.  This self-starter will work closely with two of our Senior Regional Sales Managers in a team environment that will allow the individual to learn our products, industry and culture. This position provides the candidate with the ability to sharpen their skills, prove their motivation and will create a successful transition to an outside regional sales manager position, while benefiting from a mentoring environment.

 

This position will initially be predominately an inside sales position, but will transition to more field work and direct customer contact based on the candidates progress.

 

The Regional Sales Manager Trainee is responsible for:

·  Becoming part of a successful team with your outside partners

·  Quickly learning our products and processes

·  Call to qualify all in bound leads, manage email campaigns

·  Being a key resource to our customers

·  Support our customers newly hired sales reps/inside sales support

·  Preparation of bids/quotes for our dealer sales reps

·  Represent Fire-Dex at some smaller trade shows

·  Becoming a liaison between our customer service and our dealer personnel

 

Candidates must have:

·  Excellent presentation skills

·  Excellent computer skills

·  Passion to excel

·  4 year college degree required

·  2 Years of inside sales/sales experience

·  Availability for some travel and weekend days

·  Willingness to move when an outside territory position is earned
