Retail - US CFO 200 - 250k plus

Global fashion retail/wholesale company based in the UK is seeking a CFO for their US operations - will consider a strong controller that is ready to move into a CFO role - CPA with industry experience is a strong plus.

Position will report to the head of US as well as the Global CFO and have responsibility for the following:

-Oversee the accounting, reporting and control functions to safeguard assets and provide information to operational management in the US and globally on business performance and improvement opportunities.

-Provide strategic and operational input to the management of the operations in conjunction with the President and others in senior management

-Provide President with analyses of the financial and operational data to assist in operational decision making, including analysis of sales, margins and overhead.

-Oversee departmental budgets across business lines and analyze to determine if achieving targets

-Supervise the US IT staff to help support, maintain and improve the IT infrastructure used in the business including inventory systems and order/distribution systems

-Liaise with group to develop tax strategies

-Assess investment and divestiture opportunities from a financial perspective and advise management appropriately

-Critical analysis of the entire business to find efficiencies, savings and strategic developments to achieve targets and maximum profitability
