SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:

The Shipping / Clerical Manager is responsible for managing the warehouse clerical office and all dock operations.  This position is responsible for insuring prompt and accurate shipments to our Customers.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

 Performs daily dock audits / Problem resolution

 Works directly with receiving and shipping managers on all dock operations

 Communicates with other managers to facilitate daily shipping schedules

 Maintains customer routing information

 Works closely with Customer Service on shipping inquires

 Processes all documentation for incoming and outgoing shipments

 Communicates with outside vendors and carriers

 

 

Qualifications:

 At least 2 years prior shipping/management experience

 General computer skills which include Microsoft Office

 Good written and verbal communication skills
