Sales Associate needed for Direct Manufacturer of Athletic apparel.

A leading manufacturer of sports apparel seeks an experienced, motivated, team sales associate to help with the rapid growth of our company.  Candidate must have proven sales skills in the athletic team environment with a “can do” attitude combined with a great sense of urgency to take existing outside sales region to new heights. The right attitude is as important as experience. Ideal candidate should have existing relationships with the targeted channel of athletic teams and team retailers with a minimum of 2 years sales experience in the athletic industry.  Experience with outdoor apparel lines and selling to educational institutions is a plus.   

Skills required are proven industry knowledge and contacts combined with strong selling skills and the ability to multi task. Sales associate would be responsible for calling on existing accounts and generating new business with prospective accounts within assigned sales territory.

Requirements:

· College Degree preferred but not required.

· Winning attitude and ownership mentality a must

· Successful history of exceeding sales quotas 

· Road Warrior - - enjoys traveling as a major component of job

· Demonstrated background or lifestyle interests in sports, preferably team sports.

· Participate in clinics, special events and product specials as necessary

· Preferred candidate will possess and demonstrate excellent attention to detail.Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
