Sales Coordinator

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   Supervise the supply chain to ensure timely execution of the main steps. Follow standard procedures for the validation and allocation process. Validate EDI orders. Allocate orders and distribute to the different warehouses. Process and track all orders whether they are make-up or stock. Work in conjunction with Purchasing, Imports, Sales, Planning and the warehouses to expedite orders on a timely manner. Request orders and extensions when needed. Provide customer service to accounts when needed. Maintain clean reports, files and documentations for future needs. Ensure that Sarbanes/Oxley Act is being adhered to within the sales team. Order tickets for Private Label orders. Assists Claims Department in resolving chargebacks whenever information is requested by them. Versed in customer’s internal website/system (retrieve P.O. information, allocate P.O., track P.O.). Communicate inventory position to sales at the end of a program. Work closely with Inventory Control to monitor the accuracy of the inventory. Work with sales to project monthly numbers, and ensure that these projections are met. KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good time management and organizational skills. Customer service oriented. Computer skills: Microsoft Office: Word & Excel; Outlook. Business Objects. Preferred: previous experience working with a clothing company.
