Senior Account Executive

Bernard Chaus, Inc. designs, arranges for the manufacture of and markets an extensive range of women’s career and casual sportswear.  The Company’s products are sold nationwide through department store chains, specialty retailers and other retail outlets.  We're currently looking for a Senior Account Executive to join the Sales team at ourNew York City office location.

You will manage all aspects of the business, build relationships with retailers, and achieve top line sales growth by implementing approved sales strategies, analyzing sales, presenting product line to buyer, and creating plans tailored to maximize Account's specific business.  To qualify you must have at least 5 years experience, including strong department store experience, understanding of brand positioning, and retail presentation.  Solid analytical and retail math skills to manage OTB, sales forecasting, and projections.Must have excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills; be detailed oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Proficient MS Word and Excel skills. Up to 10% domestic travel per year is required.
