Presently, Russell is looking for a Sr. Sales Planning Analyst with DeSoto Mills in Bentonville, AR.  This key contributor must be highly analytical with excellent Microsoft office skills. 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Sales Planning Analyst will perform as the Wal-Mart sales planning analyst for the boy’s sock program. This position will be responsible for the fulfillment of Wal-Mart’s supplier expectations for Department 24 merchandise. Additionally, this position will assist the account executive for Wal-Mart in analysis of sales and other planning responsibilities.

 

Wal-Mart Reporting:

·  Inventory Management

·  Category Reporting

·  Business Reviews

·  Modular Reviews

·  Ad hoc reporting as needed

 

Internal Reporting:

·  Daily, weekly and monthly reporting

·  Weekly recaps regarding business status, project status

·  Ad hoc reporting as needed

 

Sales Planning:

·  Analysis for recommendations regarding promotional placement

·  Semi-annual modular performance analysis and set recommendations

·  Coordinate the development and maintenance of a sound financial ladder plan

·  Work with internal forecast team to develop monthly forecast updates

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft office applications and good communication skills. Experience with Retail Link a must. Bachelor degree required.

 

JOB EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Five plus years work experience, preferably with a sales analysis background.
