USA Shade & Fabric Structures, a world leader in the manufacturing and installation of shade systems is seeking an experienced Systems programmer and Analyst to add to the IT team for our Corporate Office in Dallas.

 

We have several applications based on VB.NET, Crystal Reports and SQL Server 2000.

We are active in the development of applications for barcode scanners for the purpose of tracking and reporting the movements of goods.

This position encompasses a variety of job duties and responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities Participate in gathering of functional requirements,Contribute to any technical design work necessary, Create supporting documentation for applications,Prepare and execute test plans,Develop automated reporting solutions using Microsoft SQL (2000 and 2005) and Excel Visual Basic for Applications.Analysis, Design, Programming, Troubleshooting, Installation and Testing.Be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment, learn and attain new skill sets, meet or beat deadlines even on aggressively scheduled projects. Implement and maintain database security policiesPlan for database growth and changes (capacity planning) Develop SQL queries to provide ad hoc reports and analysis.Ideal candidates will develop client server applications using VB.NET, Crystal Reports, ADO.NET, and SQL Server.

 

Qualifications:

 2 to 3 years of Development Experience with the .NET Platform and related technologies (VB.NET, ADO.NET, and Crystal Reports)Minimum 3 years of experience with SQL Server Administration and stored procedure developments.Functional Knowledge with manufacturing based ERP systems will be helpful.Experience in CRM (Particularly in Sales Logix) systems will be helpful.Working Knowledge of Windows Server 2003 is required.Familiarity with financial information systems (particularly MAS 200) a plusSQL Server Client and Administrative tool knowledgeStored Procedure development, maintenance and optimizationMS SQL Server database Backup/Recovery MS SQL Server database security administration A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalentStrong verbal and written communication skills
