Tax Manager

Responsibilities:

Prepare and review quarterly and annual income tax provision in accordance with FAS 109 and related financial statement disclosures for federal, state and international jurisdictions;

• SOX 404 documentation and review;

• Worldwide tax rate forecasting and management under the supervision of director of global tax reporting;

• Identify, research, and evaluate tax issues in the federal, state, and international tax arena;

• Interpret new law changes and its impact on our tax positions;

• Interface with international finance team on various international tax initiatives including the roll-out of global tax provision policies and procedures;

• Assist tax director(s) with special projects including federal, state, and international tax planning

• Oversee the preparation and review of federal, state, and local income tax compliance including property and sales taxes;

• Manage US tax audits (income, franchise, and sales & use);

Skills/Education:

 

5-10 years FAS 109 experience with a public company and/or public accounting experience with a Big 4 or similar accounting firm;

• Experience with tax provision work for multi-national companies

• Strong accounting skills - BS Accounting and CPA required

• Strong general tax knowledge of U.S. and state tax law (MST a plus, some international experience a plus.)

• Strong research, analytical and communication skills (written and verbal);

• Solid interpersonal skills - able to interact in a team environment within the tax and finance organizations and with outside advisors and auditors;

• Software – knowledge of TaxStream, Sabrix, VantageTax, and Hyperion a plus;
