Technical Analyst Store Solutions

Purpose:
This position provides second level technical support globally for adidas and Reebok retail stores, collaborates with Infrastructure Services to maintain reliable IT systems infrastructure for Retail IT services and ensures SLA compliance for the Retail application and hardware services in the responsibility CC Retail.


Key Responsibilities:


Provide technical 2nd level support and problem analysis globally in cooperation with our North America and Europe based colleagues for Store21, the interfaces Xcellenet/Hostlink/XBR as well as other strategic POS solutions.

Ensure SLA compliance for the Retail application and hardware services (e.g. RBO, Store21/SAP Retail) in the responsibility of CC Retail.

Provide user and support staff training for above applications.

Create Global POS release policy, assist local colleagues with release / roll out planning.

Identify and present for approval areas for process improvement resulting in cost reduction or improved process.

Perform Change Management duties to ensure that proposed solution meets the requirements without impacting other functionality, work with colleagues to co-ordinate the build, test, and implementation of patches, and new software versions, release management.

Ensure compliance to existing hardware standards.  Perform Change Management for hardware standards (e.g. end of model cycle process).  Further harmonization of hardware standards across our store environment.

Explore the availability and country legislation compliance of our global hardware standards.

Key Relationships:

Work closely with Enterprise Architects to explore new Store Systems technologies (traffic counters, work force management, visual retailing and others).

Collaborate with Infrastructure Services on maintaining a reliable IT systems infrastructure for our Retail IT Services.

Collaborate with CC Retail Manager in the setup of global support models with internal and external partners and our business customers for applications and hardware support.

Work directly with 1st level support personnel to resolve issues.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:

In depth knowledge of Store 21.

Knowledge of related interfaces Xcellenet, Hostlink and XBR.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work as part of a group.

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 

Minimum 5 years experience in IT related field.  Customer support experience a must.
