In addition to its wholesale business, the company operates retail locations including Bright Eyes, Oakley O Stores, and The Optical Shop of Aspen.BASIC FUNCTIONS:Responsible for the structure, implementation, build, and integration of front-end and back-end web technologies.Both codes consistently to documented specifications and established standards.Oversee quality assurance of all technology to ensure programming meets requirements.Works closely with project and management team to construct the technology layout and organization of online solutions.Accurately estimates technology development team tasks and manages multiple deliverable simultaneously.Assesses all aspects of online risk management.Manages build of dynamic front-end and back-end functionality.Designs prototypes, wireframes, and proof-of-concepts.Ability to manage and mentor team of software developers and programmers as well as third-party vendors.Works with other departments to make sure online technology is integrated with the rest of Oakley technology infrastructure as well as serve as point-of-contact for all online technology issues.Continually looking for cutting edge technology ideas and solutions as well as performs competitive analysis reports. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:5+years of working experience in web technology development.Expertise with SQL, MySQL, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML/XSLT, JSP/ASP/PHP, and Flash technology.Experience in building and implementing content management systems.Ability to work in fast paced environment and flexibility to accommodate demanding projects schedules.Educated in development methodologies and best practices.Analyze complex problems and methodically.Solid knowledge of technical requirements definition and design process.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong proponent of web standards and accessibility.PLUS FACTORS:Familiarity with web services, search engine optimization, personalization, web analytic, and on-site search solutions a plus.Mobile technology experience.
