RemxIT has a Silver Spring based client looking to fill it's 6mo Contract to hire opportunity asap.....Location: Silver Spring, MD  (SS Metro location)Duration: 6mo Contract to hiregovt client requires a US  Citizen We are unable to use Permanent Residents and  H1b candidates at this time** ======================================= Silver Spring, MD1. 5 year  RF Engineer (RF  interference /filters/Receivers)-Radiosonde Tracking system-Design and implement modifications to the Telemetry Receiver System (TRS), used for tracking weather balloons for the National Weather Service. -Analyze circuit-level problems and non-compliant performance of current system. -Determine cause, propose and design solutions, and perform test and evaluation of the results. -Perform analysis of requirements, specifications, and schematics. -Prepare reports to present technical, cost, and logistical pros and cons. -Update technical manuals and training materials.2. Required Skills-5 years in design, testing, and/or maintenance of non-IT field sensors and systems. -Experience with RF interference and RF filters. -Familiarity with Antenna drive and feedback circuitry, RF receivers, Radio Detection Finding, and GPS. -Experience planning, running, and documenting formal test programs. -Must have excellent technical writing skills. -Experience writing technical/instruction manuals (especially concerning safety of technical personnel) a major plus. 3. Education-Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related Physical Science.==========================================4.
