Field Sales Rep
Southern New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland
Our North sales are increasing, and we are expanding our sales force. Because of new opportunities in Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, we seek a Outside Sales Rep to join our North sales team. You'll prospect and develop our South Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, territory by selling directly to end-users in commercial, state and local government, education and non-profit accounts. You'll sell a technologically advanced solution with a great ROI. You'll work the entire sales pipeline. Together, we can be a success.

Qualifications:
We seek an individual with the following qualities: At least Two years in computer/storage sales; Knowledge of key accounts and contacts in Southern New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland, including major end-users; Must have hands-on knowledge of North Eastern business cultures and sales processes, and specific geographic knowledge of high-tech companies in your territory. The ability to develop a prospect list, build a pipeline of opportunities and close business; A history of exceeding sales targets; Above average presentation skills; Strong internal desire to succeed in a dynamic fast-growth industry; Previous experience selling storage hardware or software (tape libraries, storage devices or backup application software) preferred but not required.Location:
Home officed preferably in South Jersey (area codes 856 & 609) but will also consider candidates in Philadelphia (area codes 215, 484, & 610) Delaware and Maryland . Unfortunately, candidates not currently living in one of these areas can not be considered. No relocation assistance provided - local candidates only please.
Territory Team:
You will have the following team for support: An Order Admin assigned to enter orders; an Inside Business Rep to provide sales and support on non-enterprise class products; a Sales Engineer for pre/post sales support; and a Business Developer for prospecting.
Education/Experience:
Prefer four year business or technical degree or military experience.
Travel:
This position is projected to have 60% travel per year, most in territory. Some travel will be by plane. Must hold a valid drivers license.
Status:
Full Time, Direct Hire Exempt Position
Compensation:
Base salary, plus commissions on gross profit, plus bonus
