Provides management direction and oversight to the IT group that engineers and supports the internal and external web system architecture and infrastructure, the Lotus Notes email and calendaring systems, Lotus Notes applications, internal and external email gateways and associated security systems, and collaboration and knowledge management systems and tools such as internal chat, web conferencing and team collaboration groupware.  Collaborates with IT and business leadership to identify, recommend and implement information management strategies for these infrastructure systems and applications.

 

Through knowledge of Lotus Notes technical architecture and associated software and systems that support the email, calendaring, web, collaboration, and Lotus Notes application tools.

Thorough knowledge of web technical architecture and associated software and systems.

Knowledge of collaboration technologies.

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, communication, team management and project management skills.

Ability to maintain an ongoing partnership with the business owners and collaborate to analyze business needs, identify and recommend IT opportunities.

Able to effectively manage projects and diverse teams in a multi-vendor environment.

Can develop realistic projects cost estimates, develop budgets, track and manage spending to establish targets.

Understanding of technology trends, directions and how to apply these to respond to business needs.

BS – BA Degree Required (Computer Science or Engineering preferred)

10+ years experience in information technology, with 4 years experience in managing a Lotus Notes email team.
