AbInitio Architect

 Datanomics, a full service provider of computer consulting services since 1982, is currently seeking an AbInitio Architect for a contract position with a Pharmaceutical Company in Kenilworth, New Jersey. Candidates must be able to code and test complex AbInitio ETL routines; prepare/implement data verification and testing methods for the Data Warehouse; design/implement data staging methods. Successful applicant will be responsible for performance and tuning of AbInitio ETL graphs, processes and load routines, preparing business and technical documentation, and will provide mentoring in Ab Initio.  Position Requirements: -Candidates must have 7+ years of overall experience.-Comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience with Unix, ksh scripting, Oracle 8i/9i and PL/SQL. -Creative problem-solving skills, recognizing multiple potential solutions to a given problem, and being able to identify and justify the optimum solution. -Experience working with a formal software development lifecycle. -Must have very good consultative skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, analytical ability and the ability to work effectively with systems technical staff. -Ability to work on multiple assignments concurrently, balancing each so that required project dates are met.   Position Pluses: -Experience with Pharmaceutical data. -Experience in Data Warehouse processing/technologies. -Experience processing significant data volumes (1TB+). -Formal Ab Initio training. -Experience with any of the following items: C, PERL, Maestro, Ab Initio EME   Please send your resume with salary requirements to resumes@datanomics.com   Datanomics is an equal opportunity employer!  Company: Datanomics Location: Kenilworth, NJ 07033 Salary/Wage: 52.00 - 58.00 USD /hourSalary dependent on experience......
