We are currently seeking an Account Executive for our Software Sales Department. The position is for our Central Region based out of Chicago, Il. The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for creating a sales plan for the territory and executing this plan. It will involve C-level solution-selling capability for the full range of Interstage products into targeted markets and accounts in the territory. Opportunities will be significantly based on the AE’s ability to aggressively hunt for highly qualified prospects. The AE will apply team-selling skills to develop and execute a winning strategy, using Fujitsu Computer Systems pre-sales resources and also when teaming with other Fujitsu and non-Fujitsu business partners. Creating, planning for and executing sales calls on sales opportunities in the territory with a value of at least $100K with the objective of achieving or exceeding assigned quota. All aspects of the sales cycle will be required: lead generation, qualification, solution development, presentation, proposal development, business terms negotiation, closing and initiation of invoices. Expanding the revenue base in existing customers in the territory by making new executive and managerial contacts and making sure that the account remains satisfied with our products and services Establishing and maintaining good releationships with partners in the territory who are capable of providing new business opportunities for our products and services. Partners may be FCS Hardware sales, Systems Integrators, VARs, and other Fujitsu companies Keep current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, applications, competition and continue to research media resources to find new opportunities and find new applications of our products as industry solutions Cooperate with the ESG as a good team player: including pres-sales systems engineers, professional services, business development, customer services, administration, accounting, and management Maintain good records of your sales activiities, customers and prospects, sales opportunities and forecasted revenues for month, quarter, half and year. This data will be recorded in the sales force automation tool currently in use by FCS Attend and actively participate in scheduled meetings (weekly, bi-weekly and other meetings from time to time) Education: Bachelor's in Computer Science/Technology strongly preferred Skills and Abilities:Interpersonal Skills: this position requires the ability to work in team environment with colleagues at FCS and to coordinate and provide leadership in preparing for sales presentations, completing RFP's, responding to customer's questions. Customers and prospects must find you to be a person they are comfortable in engaging with as well as perceiving a high level of consideration and integrity. Presentation Skills: this position requires presentations of our products, services and solutions to executives, managers from both business and technology backgrounds. The ability to be a clear, credible and persuasive Literacy & Writing skills: requires the ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization. Excellent writing skills are required for emails, proposals and other communications. The position also requires considerable reading for research, education and proposal and contract work. Sales Skills: Ability to find leads, qualify, engage, propose, get agreement, negotiate business terms, and close is a basic requirement. Computer skills: must be able to maintain sales records and produce good proposals, reports and presentations. Some demonstrations of our products will also be required
