Account Manager Description
Objective: To increase revenue and gross profit while expanding SARCOM’s market presence focusing on the mid-market to enterprise corporate customer.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for:
Selling SARCOM’s complete line of technology solutions (eProcurement, systems and peripherals, enterprise servers and storage, networking, security, software licensing and software solutions, and managed and professional services) Developing and managing new accounts while maintaining and sustaining successful long-term relationships with key decision makers. (C-Level, IT Managers/Directors, Purchasing, etc.)Developing, maintaining, and leveraging strong relationships with solution providers (HP, IBM, Lenovo, Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, etc.) and distributors (Ingram Micro, Tech Data, etc.) Meeting sales goals, account strategy development, negotiating price, selling to customer needs, sales planning, managing processes, maintaining sales reports, developing market and competitor knowledge, developing budgets, presentations to customers, and creating sales proposals and responses to RFP’S, RFQ’S, and RFI’S (Requests for Proposals, Quotes and Information)
Requirements
Proven track record of exceeding quota and minimum of 3 years experience selling technology solutions to mid-market to enterprise customers.Currently in sales and employed by a Value Added Reseller/Systems Integrator (However we will consider all candidates with B2B IT sales experience selling to corporate customers)
