Job Description



Transparent Technologies, Inc.  is seeking a motivated and energetic Accountant to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior/mid-level accountant or recent graduate to help define and implement full cycle accounting procedures under the guidance of our part-time Controller. This is an important position, and we are looking for an ambitious candidate who will make a significant difference in our accounting procedures. The selected candidate will have exposure to all financial aspects of managing the company, and the opportunity to quickly gain very valuable industry experience.

 

Transparent Technologies is a small company with approximately 40 employees. Founded in 1999, we have a very successful track record and several substantial customers in the Atlanta area. We have a relaxed work environment and a solid team that is fun to work with. Our office is located in Lawrenceville off of Sugarloaf Parkway.

 

Duties will include:

 * Developing processes for sales, inventory, RMA, etc based on industry best practices.

 * Payroll processing and verification.

 * Generate regular financial reports for management.

 * Develop and maintain company budget.

 * Track project profitability.

 * AP/AR responsibility.

 * Asset tracking.




 The ideal candidate will have a 4-year accounting degree and some relevant experience. Other desired skills/qualifications:

 * Excellent MS Office skills, particularly with Excel.

 * Must work well with others.

 * Must be self-motivated and able to work with little direction.

 * Excellent oral and written communication skills.

 * Must be comfortable working in a highly dynamic environment with ever changing priorities.

 * Must be computer savvy.

 * Experience with Peacthree, Syspro, and/or WASP a plus.
