Analyst 2 with Scripting

Job Summary:

 

Our clients Operations Center is currently looking for an Analyst 2 position to develop/maintain our Application Management Platform.  Primary responsibilities will include the support of our IT Trading environment in respect to implementing the monitoring requirements within our System/Application Management Suite of tools.

 

Required Skills:

 

· Familiarity with the scripting tools (Python, Perl, VB…)

· Familiarity with Oracle/SQL  Databases and Web Development

· Ability to independently analyze requests, develop functional requirements, and estimate costs and effort.

· Ability to design and implement technical solutions within our Management platform.

· Ability to communicate clearly both verbal and written

 

Preferred Skills:

· Familiarity with ITIL /ITSM framework and best practices

· Familiarity with implementing IT Service Management Products

· Familiarity with HP’s suite of products (formerly Mercury) including BAC, BPM, Sitescope
