Assistant Corporate Controller Description: This position is responsible for managing the daily accounting operations for a $450M publicly traded software company using Oracle and Hyperion financial systems.  Areas of responsibility primarily include general accounting and accounts payable for multiple legal entities within a shared services environment with a staff of 10 professionals.  This position is also responsible for maintaining and updating all SOX 404 documentation and ensuring strong internal accounting controls.  This position will be primary interface with external auditors during quarterly and annual audit.  Responsibilities: Maintain the Oracle general ledger system, chart of accounts and reporting hierarchiesSupervise accounting staff to ensure transactions are properly recordedPrepare monthly internal financial statements, 10Q's and 10K'sEnsure strong internal accounting controls by maintaining and updating SOX 404 documentation and controlsAnalyze business activity for proper accounting treatment and record transactions to properly reflect activityAssist external auditors with quarterly and annual audit. Required:  Minimum 3 years experience with Oracle or similar ERP systemStrong technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAPMinimum 7 years supervising professional staffBachelor's degree in accounting or financeCPA required Click here to APPLY NOW.
