The position is located in Sunnyvale, CA. Job Description With guidance from manager or team members develop monthly material forecast to suppliers for products sold and supported in North America and develop end of life forecasts as requested from suppliers for components/parts that are being discontinued. Monitor the Open Order and Backorder reports on a daily basis and work to resolve parts availability issues.  Provide adequate status to management on issues requiring escalation. Represent Service Planning in the weekly New Product Introduction team meetings.  Drive completion of assigned tasks and requirements for Service Planning that affect the successful role-out of product within the defined launch schedule. Perform daily reconciliation of inventory variances between Oracle and UPS. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors; exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Normally receives little instructions on routine work, general instructions on new assignments.Experience:
5 years business experience in production control and or inventory control related to Mobile or Enterprise products. Education:  
Bachelor’s degree in Business/Communications

  Skills and Abilities:
• Familiarity with Oracle 11i and Discoverer Reporting tools preferred.
• Must have strong communications, problem solving, and reporting skills
• Strong computer skills required
• Must be very proficient with Microsoft Excel —advance functions, lookup tables, formulas etc
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment, and must be results oriented, and able to handle a variety of projects simultaneously
