Associate Solutions Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GADepartment: Sales - DemoRelocation Provided: NoEducation Required: Bachelors DegreeExperience Required: 1 - 3 YearsPosition Description:The Solutions Deployment team is under the Product Management Organization that was derived from a need to demonstrate the operational flow of Manhattan Associates’ Supply Chain Solutions to current and prospective clients globally. Within that team, the Solutions Engineer will assemble our planning and logistics solutions by functionally and technically integrating the solutions into one robust product.The Solutions Deployment team is responsible for assembling and maintaining SCOPE products based on a variety of different technologies (J2EE, .NET and System i), that are leveraged by sales teams and training teams for demonstration to Manhattan clientele. The team is responsible for delivery of product demos for sales campaigns, user conferences, and internal and external client training worldwide. Additionally, as future product releases are rolled out, the team will upgrade the demo versions to include the latest functionality that has been strategically introduced by product management.Position Requirements:The Solutions Engineer's responsibilities include:- Install MA products into sales demo environments.- Assemble product demo environments by generating demo scripts and staging associated product data.- Configure system & integration points of SCOPE products.- Unit testing- System testing - Troubleshoot and solve technical issues - Develop a functional and technical knowledge of Manhattan's products.- Customize and support applications as per Sales requirements.- Directly support Solutions Consultants with sales campaigns.Skill Set:- Computer Science, Engineering, IS, or related degree- Troubleshooting technical product issues- Flexible, motivated, enthusiastic work ethic- Multi-tasking capabilities- SQL, Stored Procedures - ETL/eAI/Middleware integration experience- XML/XSL, VB, HTML, JavaScript, C++- Crystal reports- Microsoft Technologies: o SQL Server database o Windows 2000/2003 o IIS – Internet Information Services o Internet Explorer 6.0 and later- Unix experience (IBM AIX experience a plus)- Oracle database/SQLPlus- WebMethods - Apache Web Server- LDAP a plus- TOAD a plus- Systems Implementations and systems support experience- Supply Chain industry knowledge a plus- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) knowledge a plus- Transportation Management Systems (TMS) knowledge a plus.
