Audio/Video Techs, Network Admin & Crestron Programmer

Job Description:Media Systems, Inc. is a stable (Since 1979!), growing, residential audio/video integration firm located in Houston, TX. We specialize in high-end residential projects including home theater, multi-zone audio, home automation and lighting control. We are looking for experienced Audio/Video Technicians, Network Admins AND Crestron Programmers. We have an outstanding company reputation with numerous accolades and design awards!

Responsibilities may include:

Prepare equipment for delivery, deliver to jobsite, install equipment and prepare for programming Design and programming of user interfaces for Audio/Video, Home Theater & Lighting Control Design and programming for Lighting Control Systems for residential projects Design and setup  TCP/IP networks  for residential Crestron systems including: Static IP's, DMZ, Port Forwarding, multiple subnets, multiple SSID's w/ encryption, etc. Communication and coordination with other team members and project planning Communication and training of clients on use of control system Maintain quality control and company standard  

Requirements: At least 2-3 years field experience with residential/commercial audio/video systems Strong PC and networking background Computer proficiency: Windows, Office and Visio Outstanding communication, writing, and organizational skills Experience reading wiring diagrams and system design drawings Logical thinker with strong troubleshooting skills Project Management skills with the ability to produce good documentation Mature professional with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic Must be able to “finish the project” every time
