Backup Implementation Engineer

in our Broomfield office!

 

This position is a member of the Installation Team. The primary job function is to work with customers/partners to install new Customers and Servers into infrastructures managed within the Incentra Solutions Managed Storage Services (MSS) program.

POSITION DUTIES: Installation of client backup and/or monitoring softwareConfiguration, testing and troubleshooting of new MSS clientsDirect interaction with customers/partners via phone and emailCoordination of installation schedules and customer follow upDocumentation creation and maintenanceTier3 support for Network Operations Center (NOC)Training of NOC and Engineering staffMember of Engineering on-call rotation

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

· Experience with Veritas NetBackup, CommVault Galaxy or Avamar Axion

· Experience with Windows, Solaris, LinuxExperience with Exchange, Lotus Notes, Oracle, MS-SQLProcess and procedure drivenFunctions well in multi-tasking environmentGood verbal, written and interpersonal skillsShould have strong analytical and problem solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and OutlookAbility to adjust work hours to meet customer/partners needs
