Business Development - IT Asset Disposition

 

ITAD provides a leading-edge suite of IT Asset Disposition services to enterprise clients who need to maintain data security and environmental compliance, as well as maximize the residual value on their IT Assets. The successful Business Development Manager will utilize prospecting, consultative selling, and communication skills to obtain new business opportunities in Fortune 1000 accounts.

DUTIES / ACTIVITIES: Develop new direct business opportunities with C and VP level contacts within Fortune 1000 accounts. Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and recruiting new customers and partners to the ITAD network.
Using the ITAD service offerings, develop business solutions to address customer requirements and resolve business issues. Create and implement sales plans by account. Arrange and conduct presentations to qualified decision-makers within named accounts. Successfully negotiate contracts with customers. Forecast and achieve sales revenues and gross profit targets monthly. Collaborate with Internal departments such as Marketing, Inside Sales and Operations to develop solutions to meet customer requirements. Actively participate in a continuous improvement effort designed to maximize results of the business development, account acquisition, and account penetration process.


EDUCATION:

BA or BS in business, marketing or engineering; MBA preferred. Exceptions based on minimum work experience and proven track record of success in similar role.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS: Proven ability to develop senior level business relationships. 10+ years of solution selling to direct Fortune 1000 end user accounts. Proven ability to penetrate and grow new business. Advanced problem solving and issue management skills. Previous Information Technology Sales experience required. Must be willing to travel up to 50% within assigned territory.
