Catalyst Technology Group provides the resources of a large IT department to companies of all sizes nationwide in almost every industry. Our clients are businesses, both with and without internal IT staffs that face the challenge of how to address ever-increasing IT requirements within a limited budget. With offices in Indianapolis and Chicago, we work with clients and prospects to first understand their objectives and the IT resources already in place. Once we have a solid understanding of needs and resources, we help to refine and customize IT solutions for each company. Catalyst specializes in providing services for support, management, security, connectivity, data protection, and web-based programming for businesses running Microsoft servers and operating systems found at the core of most businesses.
Position Summary:
The primary goal of this position is to generate a new business client base in the Chicago area.
Sell information technology solutions which include managed services, professional services, outsourcing and, hardware/software.
Build and manage a client base in the Chicago area from the ground up by selling Catalyst's services and utilizing available company resources.
Work with Catalyst management and subject matter experts to develop sales prospecting strategy, qualify opportunities, close contracts, and maintain excellent customer service.
Responsibilities: Prospecting for new leads.Sell Catalyst services to small-and-medium size businesses in Chicago and suburbs. Maintain excellent client service. Maintain accurate sales pipeline and staffing request projections. Continually build opportunity pipeline. Achieve one million dollar sales quota. Discover client business needs and propose appropriate solutions. Work with key partners to drive associated product revenue. Successfully negotiate contracts.
Qualifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- 1-2 years information technology sales required - Strong network and consulting sales experience preferred - Knowledge of Microsoft, Cisco, Computer Associates, and HP/Compaq product lines - Relationships with clients in Chicago area and excellent social/business networking skills.
We are searching for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset, excellent networking skills, and are only looking for self-driven top performers. This position requires building a client base from the ground up and requires a fair amount of business and technical expertise. A successful first year BDM with Catalyst can anticipate first year earnings including base and commission of $70,000 to 90,000, with the opportunity to increase your income into the $100,000--$200,000 range within two or three years. Our commission plan builds upon a monthly recurring model which allows you to build a Compensation package for this position includes base salary, commission, bonus, and benefits.
