COMSEC Manager / Telecommunications Engineering Analyst

SUMMARY:

A prospective candidate should have the ability to assume the role of COMSEC Manager and be responsible tracking and managing all duties associated with COMSEC, DMS messages, and other classified and unclassified messaging.

 

Essential Duties and responsibilities:Provide Defense Message System support, management, analysis, and guidance in support of Navy customers. Manage daily messaging responsibilities including retrieval, draft guidance, spillage reports, etc.Maintain classified and unclassified messaging SOPsGoal oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organization, communication.Manages classified keying material and strictly adheres to and enforces government regulations.

Required for This Position:Bachelors Degree in IT or related fieldDefense Messaging System ExperienceStrong writing ability.Strong understanding of Information Technology and related disciplines.5-10 years of COMSEC and Navy messaging experience.Secret or higher level clearance.

Preferred:DoD and DoN ExperienceAdvanced degreeProject Management Professional (PmP) CertificationSecurity+ CertificationCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
