You’re a hunter, a prospector, an expert closer who thrives on the thrill of the sale. You have a background in technology sales - hardware, wireless, networking, software or systems, but maybe you feel limited because you’re working in just one area or with just one firm. You crave the opportunity to offer customers a wider variety of solutions, while building your expertise.

 

Expand your horizons with an industry leader. This is a highly consultative position where you’ll target companies with 2000+ employees to grow your territory through the sales of software solutions.

 

We’re a global company that reps more than 200 publishers, providing expertise in managing software licenses, and offers the latest and greatest in systems/networking/hardware needs.

 

This territory-based, home-based position involves prospecting for new business (via telephone sales, cold calling, client meetings, territory planning and relationship building) as well as generating additional business from existing relationships.

 

Sample duties:

  Cultivate solid account relationships and drive customer satisfaction. Manage multiple corporate accounts. Achieve/exceed monthly sales targets. Prospect and make executive calls to build upon business potential within the territory. Develop relationships with partners to work on leads and opportunities. Gather and build on account information to leverage sales, generate additional sales, and improve business relationships. Help management address account challenges and opportunities. Qualifies corporate accounts for significant company business potential. Maintain account management information. Occasional overnight travel.

 Requirements Strong sales hunter with heavy prospecting experience Experience in B2B (business to business) sales of software solutions or other related technology sales, (like systems, hardware, peripherals, wireless, IT commodity sales) Enjoy the thrill of the sale and closing deals Skills in the consultative selling approach. Use your excellent analytical skills to assess, understand and translate customer needs into business potential. Demonstrated ability to effectively present, interact with and negotiate with all organizational levels Sense of independence and drive Planning, organizational and time management skills. Excellent computer skills (PC, Microsoft Office, internet, email)   Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
