The role of an NVIDIA Compute Solutions Sales Manager is focused on driving NVIDIA’s Tesla and CUDA products solutions, as well as those by our OEM and channel partners, into Fortune 500 enterprises and to new partners. Requires world-class sales and customer management skills as well as a broad understanding of high performance computing enterprise solutions and technologies.
The Compute Solutions Sales Manager is a key member of Compute product team which is building a new $1B business for NVIDIA and establishing industry leadership in HPC and multi-core parallel processing. The Solution Sales Manager is responsible for developing an effective global Strategic Plan for assigned markets to penetrate new accounts and accelerating CUDA/Tesla efforts on current accounts. An integral part of Solution Sales is to expand the number and capacity of NVIDIA channel partners and consulting affiliates to help drive demand and service the target markets.
This position requires in-depth understanding of the HPC market and applications in the Finance Services Industry. Knowledge and experience selling compute platforms and hardware/software technologies into large global banks or hedge funds in Europe and around globe. Specific knowledge of quantitative analytics and other HPC application areas. Relationships with key customers and partners in this segment.
The Compute Solutions Sales Manager is expected to work as a specialist with NVIDIA's PSG Enterprise, channel and field sales team. Together they will identify top potential Tesla revenue opportunities, as well as establish a broad base of CUDA adoption and application development in his/her assigned markets. The Compute Sales Manager will direct strategy and execute tactics to drive specific Tesla customer engagements to successful close and accelerate revenue.
Through knowledge of requirements and validation of customer benefits, the sales manager will develop compelling Tesla solutions which can be replicated with other customers and partners. Responsibilities:Evangelize NVIDIA, Tesla, and CUDA to target customers and partners. Prequalify and prioritize customer opportunities Drive successful customer evaluations and prototype efforts Build a Pipeline of opportunities which can be driven to revenue Utilize appropriate NVIDIA resources to support customer engagements Develop repeatable sales solutions which can be replicated or adopted to drive additional business. Expand NVIDIA’s brand and solutions into enterprise data centers Understand customer requirements, decision criteria, and technology adoption process Communicate customer and industry requirements back into the organization. Leverage and contribute to Business Development team efforts with ISV’s. Establish solid cooperation with OEM (System Manufacturer), System Builders, Integrators and VARs as appropriate for target customers and business objectives. Minimum Requirements:At least 7 - 10 year experience with enterprise customers in vertical market, such as Academia/Research, Oil&Gas, or Financial Services industries. Good English (verbal as well as in writing) and presentations skills Flexible for traveling as needed. In region common, occasionally international Technical and business understanding of high performance computing (HPC) and application development (concept adequate, coding knowledge not required) Ability to manage new technology adoption challenges with customers Contacts to major vertical customers, partners, and ISV’s Effective and candid communicator BS or equivalent Preferred Skills:Speaking skills beyond English in additional language(s) Knowledge of graphics processor technology or uses Experience selling compute clusters or servers to F500 and partners.
