Responsibilities Include:

 

Implementation, troubleshooting, support and proactive administration of network s including:Microsoft and Cisco Networks, Microsoft Exchange, SQL and Live Communications Servers, Wide Area Networks, and security solutions.Candidate Requirements:* Strong communication and customer interaction skills * Strong Leadership and Mentoring skills* Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects * Minimum of 5-years experience in a network-engineering/administrator role* MCSE 200X Certifications * 3 years of experience with Active Directory * Strong Working Knowledge of Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls. * Experience installing and troubleshooting Intel servers and related hardware. * Strong Knowledge of Veritas Backup Exec and other backup solutions.* Strong understanding of workstation operating systems as well as Network Operating Systems, group policies and active directory *Strong understanding of IP networking

 

Other Desirable Characteristics:

 

* CompTIA Certifications A+, Network+, Internet+, Server+, Security+ and others.* Microsoft Certifications MCP, or MCSE* Cisco Certifications CCNA, CCDA, or CCNP* Experience with Backup Exec

* Experience with Solarwinds Orion and Other network managment solutions* Hardware Certifications - HP, Cisco, IBM, Compaq, or others* Experience using scripting to automate system management process

* VOIP network optimization & Implementation experiance.* Experiance with Inteligent Phone systems (Televantage & ResponsePoint) *Also experience in the insurance industry and agency management systems is a big-plus.
