Configuration Management Analyst

Summary:



A prospective candidate should have the ability to assume the role of Configuration Management Analyst and be responsible documenting, tracking, and recommending strategy for configuration management of customer systems.

 

Essential Duties and responsibilities:Provide configuration management, analysis, and guidance to Navy customers. Responsible for ensuring compliance with and the development of the customers Configuration Management Plan (CMP).Coordinate activities and attend engineering review board and group meetings.Compile and assist in the review and resolution of comments from the configuration boardGoal oriented and action focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined, good at project planning, organization, communication, team motivation and delegation.Ensure systems comply with DoD and DoN regulations and requirements (DITPR-DoN, FISMA, DITSCAP, etc.)Provide resource and guidance for Navy initiatives including CARS, NMCI, and NGEN.

Required for This Position:Bachelors Degree in IT or related fieldStrong writing ability.

 Strong understanding of Information Technology and related disciplines.5-10 years of configuration management experience.Secret or higher level clearance.

Preferred:DoD and DoN ExperienceAdvanced degreeProject Management Professional (PmP) CertificationSecurity+ CertificationCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)System Administration/network management experience.
