Contact Center Technology Engineer 7 Month Contract – Dublin, OHThe Professional Services engineer Have in-depth knowledge and working experience in Genesys Voice portal (GVP), Genesys Framework, Genesys SIP Server, Genesys Stream Manager, and Genesys Agent Desktop (GAD). Contact Center Fundamentals including Call Routing/Strategy Capabilities, CTI, VXML capabilities, and T-Server operations. Voice networks and the various elements (switching, signaling, intelligence network, messaging, directory, notification, etc.). TDM/VoIP routing protocols call processing (SS7, ISDN, SIP, SIP-T, etc...). Experience with the following preferred Local and LD switching platforms including Sonus, Lucent, Nortel DMS, Nortel Succession. IP PBX and CPEs DNS, data collection, monitoring, storage, Web/API. UNIX, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, shell/script, programming. System Administration Be an excellent communicator, an individual contributor with minimum supervision, and a team player. Be able to perform the following functions: Design and Engineering Design engineering requirements and specifications based on the architecture documentation (developed by Architecture team) During the design process, provide feedback to Architecture team for the revised architecture document Develop bronze configuration and engineering guidelines Document the engineering design Work with IT organization to support interface and OSS design specifications Work with other Engineering and Project Management groups to facilitate detailed design specifications. (i.e. IP engineering to completed data infrastructure design.) Provide technical guidance needed to develop process flows for ordering, trouble management, and billing. Review final engineering design documents with technology teams Testing and Certification Set up physical and logical laboratory infrastructure in support of testing and certification Be responsible for lab inventory, connectivity, and equipments Build test plan and test cases based on the engineering requirements Perform testing and certification in the lab Work across internal organizations for End to End certification Build final configuration (Golden Config) Document all final results of configurations, testing & certification, and bug/issues list Review final certification documents with technology teams Review and hand-off to Client Operations TrainClient Operations team Provide support for FVOMust be able to pass background check including drug screen and criminal history check.
