Cutsheet Development Engineer - 4 Openings (07-US108) - Boulder, United States document.write(jobbody);POSITION DESCRIPTION:
An energetic engineer with strong leadership skills and technical understanding of EP (Electrophotographic Process) needed for Cutsheet printer development and product support. Candidate will be responsible for developing plans and associated task involved with World Wide OEM product release and field support. Field Support includes call center support, problem recreation and customer contact. Product release includes branding, agency approval compliance (Safety, EMC, Acoustics, Accessibility, Toxicology, RoHS) and IPS standards compliance. Identify and release all part numbers associated with product release, BOM and service parts. Work with Service on service documentation requirements, Marketing on marketing plan requirements, Supplies on labeling and fulfillment, Manufacturing on release and fulfillment, and Finance on business case attainment. Background in electrical, mechanical, chemical and/or general engineering required. Some travel may be required.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:
Required Skills:
- Strong communications skills required to clearly communicate project status.
- Team work and Leadership skills are a must for this dynamic environment.
- Background in electro-mechanical (software and hardware) designs and troubleshooting experience.
- Understanding of Electrophotographic printing technology.

Preferred Skills:
- Printer design or support experience preferred.
- Understanding of printer drivers and print data streams.
- Printer data stream and enabling software applications.
- Project management fundamentals/coordination.

Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree and 5 yrs relevant experience
