Fortune 500 Pharm/Manufacturing Company - MUST be able to interface with Senior Executives.

The Director of Supply Chain Technology, Americas will be the primary focal point between the North & Latin American manufacturing and supply organizations and Information Technology. As part of the IT Leadership for North America and as an extended staff member of North American Supply & Manufacturing Leadership Team (GSM), this role will have primary responsibility to develop and drive an IT strategy that will find ways to improve supply chain performance while lowering overall costs. This role will also serve as the primary spokesperson for GSM to endorse and decide on functional and IT project priorities, as well as overseeing day to day operational responsibility the business applications that run our Supply Chain.

 

Either 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing or supply chain operational role + 7-10 years in an IT Leadership role or vice-versa. Broad knowledge of supply chain operations including (3rd party and in-house manufacturing, demand planning, distribution, warehousing and transportation) and deep knowledge of an SAP-enabled Supply Chain (MM, WM, PP/DS, DP, SNP, Master Data, BW/BI). An MBA or Masters in a Supply Chain discipline is preferred. Experience in Six Sigma and/or Lean is helpful. Must have demonstrated experience as both an IT leader and a supply chain thought leader with a strong track record of IT and supply chain strategy development, large scale SAP project implementations and project management and IT governance.
