Database Analyst (Corporate Reporting)

Description:

 

The successful candidate will work with stakeholders to identify requirements for, then deliver business data to help manage the business. Responsibilities include:

 

Guide development of a strategy for enterprise reporting

Initiate, build and grow a reporting infrastructure

Work with business stakeholders to define requirements for business reporting

Develop, build and support OLAP Databases

Create static reports based on business requirements

Develop graphical dashboards for management

Investigate technologies for report creation and implement as necessary

Support and maintain existing reports

Create schedules and project plans for report delivery

Coordinate with stakeholders on active projects

Work with application owners to document data structures

 

Requirements:

 

Strong administrator experience with SQL Server 2005

Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft SQL reporting tools

SQL Server 2005 System Integration Services

SQL Server 2005 Data Analysis Services

SQL Reporting Services and ReportBuilder

The ability to work independently and identify priorities for completion of multiple tasks / projects.

Strong problem solving and communication skills

 

Desired: 

 

Experience with Proclarity, PerformancePoint and other business intelligence tools is a plus

Experience deploying MS SQL technologies from scratch is a plus

 

Education: 

 

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Sciences or Computer Information Technology.
