Desktop Technician - 3rd shift

Responsibilities and skills for this position include:Monitor nightly processing of our primary computer systemPerform Network and server monitoring tasksManage computer room environmental and network/systems devicesPerform PC/Laptop imaging and software distributionPerform scheduled systems tasksPerform hardware repair, testing and inventory tasksAssist with software license and hardware warranty management

Experience with or ability to learn following technologies:Windows 2003 servers/Active DirectoryMicrosoft Exchange 2003 ServerLAN / WAN and network topologies TCP/IP,  DHCP, WINS and DNSLinux Redhat, Oracle database and HP SAN 

Other requirements for this position include:High school graduate with post-secondary education in networking or computer science preferred and at least 1 year of experience in a corporate multi-server environmentMust be able to work the hours of 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., Monday - ThursdayAbility to work independently with limited supervisionDemonstrated problem solving skillsStrong organizational and documentation skillsDesire to grow and go beyond current capabilities
