Digital Engineer Needed

We have an immediate need for a Digital Engineer to work in the Centre County, PA area.  This individual is responsible for the design and development of embedded microcontroller hardware & firmware for use in Satellite Communications equipment.  This company is a leading provider of solutions for global satellite and wireless communications.

Job Requirements:BS in Electrical Engineering.0-5 years of experience in the development of embedded system hardware & firmware.Strong background in embedded microprocessor & microcontroller hardware & firmware design.Experience with ARM7 & Freescale 68HC11 microprocessors and Microchip PIC-series  microcontrollers.Experience with FGPA design using VHDL for Xilinx or Altera FPGAs. Strong knowledge of C programming for embedded applications. Experience with RTOS for use in embedded systems. Excellent understanding of logic synthesis, memory devices (RAM, EEPROM) and analog interface devices (ADC/DAC -Experience with RS232/485/I2C/SPI serial communication interfaces.  Understanding of network communications to include Ethernet interfaces.Excellent oral & written communications skills.
