Summary of Duties:



Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for high volume full cycle accounts payable, obtaining approval of vendor invoices, coding and entering invoices and process payment. Prepares weekly check run, wire transfers, ACH and verifies records. Reviews and processes employee expense reports. Uses office-automated systems to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects and respond to inquiries. Work with purchasing managers on verification of vendor’s credit limit and payment terms to minimize credit hold and payment discount. Set up Vendor Master data. Reconciles vendor’s accounts, AP file maintenance, investigate and resolve discrepancies or other payment issues with vendors. Performs month-end activities such as AP accruals and other close activities. Acquire W-9’s from vendors and maintains, updates and submits 1099s on time. Other administrative duties such as copying and filing

Skills and Abilities needed: 2-5 years hands-on experience with full cycle accounts payable Working knowledge of Quickbooks, MS Excel and MS Word, Professional attitude, detail oriented and team player Strong analytical and organizational skills with strong time management and ability to multitask effectively without compromising the quality of work Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience working in a Manufacturing and high-tech start-up environment
