Job Overview:Ensure positive perception of Hitachi Data Systems with press and industry and financial analysts. Proactively influences the portrayal of HDS by the media, and implements strategies to influence media opinion in favor of HDS products, services, strategies, and special developments. Job Functions:' Manage Global PR network of PR managers and PR agencies worldwide. Develop objectives and strategies for HDS Global Public Relations. Manage the HDS Corporate Communications Budget. ' Improves the satisfaction and understanding of reporters who cover HDS and deal with the company on an ongoing basis. ' Serves as one of the primary spokespeople for the company. ' Works with journalists in all key geographies that HDS maintains a business presence in, including Europe, Asia Pacific, and Latin America.' Develops and maintains a training curriculum for all authorized HDS spokespeople. Trains all authorized HDS spokespeople.' Develops, maintains and enforces HDS Corporate Communications guidelines.' Proactively generates company-specific articles that encourage sales of the company's products and services. 7-10 years of PR and similar experience in managing Analyst Relations for high technology companies. Experience leading a worldwide corporate communications team. Extensive experience managing agencies. 3-5 years of personnel management experience. Ability to manage a world wide budget on target.Bachelor Degree in Marketing or Communication related field and or MBA preferred
