Director of Human Resources - Great opportunity!
Responsibilities:Reporting to the Vice President, IS Group Administration, with a dotted line to the Wyle Corporate Vice President of Human Resources, will direct the activities of the Human Resources function (Recruiting, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Benefits Administration, EEO/Compliance, Policy Development and Training) and Group Employee Events and Community Outreach. Manage a staff of 12. Will provide expert counsel, coaching and direction to leaders and managers at all levels regarding difficult employee relations issues and business matters with widespread employee implications. Maintain organizational ISO certification by supervising the creation and updating of departmental work instructions. Manage the Human Resources and employee events/community outreach budgets and help develop activities that enhance employee morale and retention. Will participate in proposal development tasks such as fringe benefit analysis and developing text for the Human Resources sections of the management and cost volumes. Will represent IS on corporate teams to develop/enhance HR systems for recruitment/applicant tracking and Human Resources processes automation. Implement changes to benefit plans and enrollment systems as part of a corporate benefits consolidation.Required Skills and Experience: ** 10 or more years of HR experience in a Government contracting environment, including a minimum of 8 years in a management role ** Demonstrated background in employee relations including policy/legal interpretation, investigations and corrective practices, performance management, training and development and staffing and retention required ** Familiarity with HRIS systems with a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite required ** Analytical ability, problem solving skills, presentation development and delivery, interpersonal skills (management, peers, staff and customer relationships) and demonstrated proficiency in all of the HR disciplines are required ** Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple workload priorities ** Bachelor’s Degree or a related field such as Benefits Administration, Human Resources Management or equivalent experience and training requiredDesired:** A Master’s degree and/or professional certification is highly desirableTo apply and for immediate consideration, follow this link to the RSIS Career Center, cut & paste or attach your resume and create a profile.
