Develop and support the Design Implementation tools and methodology for all of NVIDIA's semiconductor products. Scope includes synthesis, timing, formal equivalence, and static analysis methodologies. Responsibilities:Serve as in-house expert for EDA tools. Act as liaison between designers and EDA vendors. Analyze issues, create solutions or workarounds, and provide testcases. Evaluate new EDA tools and features. Develop new design implementation flows. Join chip design teams and take responsibility for synthesis, timing, or other implementation tasks. Minimum Requirements:BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, MS preferred 2 years minimum experience with Verilog and Synopsys development environment, tools, script writing. Design or CAD experience with logic synthesis. Design or CAD experience with Static Timing Analysis. Design or CAD experience in formal equivalence checking. Physical Design knowledge or experience is helpful. Prefer experience with hands-on design implementation on very large, high-speed chips. Proficiency in Perl, Tcl, and Verilog Debugging and problem-solving, including creative workarounds Very good communication skills Santa Clara office. No travel foreseen. EOE
