Job Duties will include the following:

Provide electrical engineering support through different phases of a project, from the conceptual, engineering, procurement, construction, pre-operational testing & commissioning phasesWorking in a team oriented environment under stressful conditions associated with critical project deadlines and heavy workloadsEngineer, design and maintain installation of electrical, instrumentation and automation system associated with processing plants, gas compression facilities, mining facilities and other related areas Engineering of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC logicCompliance and enforcement of company, safety, environmental, governmental policies and regulations as they applyWill troubleshoot circuit and/or design problems Adheres to Reliable Controls Corporation policies Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals on specified projects Strong understanding of PLC ladder logic, digital and sequential logic programming methods, and process related closed-loop control systemsKnowledge of engineering principles, practices and proceduresKnowledge of automation (PLC / DCS) and electrical system design, diagnosis and operation Knowledge of the National Electrical Code Read and understands electrical schematics and drawingsEffectively communicates orally and in writingKnowledge of API codes as applied to electrical installationsAbility to analyze and solve complex problemsAbility to operate various power, voltage and current measurement equipment via test instruments and hand toolsAbility to distinguish colors and relationship between objectsComfortable expressing an independent opinion, resilient to change and recognizes impact of their decision on othersWill follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the function of the job under minimal supervisionWorking on-site in heavy industrial environments mostly but not limited to mining and gas industries

These environments may have the following conditions: Extreme temperature conditions, both hot and cold; in and/or around moisture; on slippery and/or uneven surfaces, in confined spaces; and at heights. Hours of operation and employee schedules vary based off each project and may require irregular or extended hour and travel for project completion. Travel includes both surrounding states and international travel.

Job Requirements for this position will include the following:

Working on-site in heavy industrial environments mostly but not limited to mining and gas industries. These environments may have the following conditions: Extreme temperature conditions, both hot and cold; in and/or around moisture; on slippery and/or uneven surfaces, in confined spaces; and at heights Hours of operation and employee schedules vary based off each project and may require irregular or extended hour and travel for project completionTravel includes both surrounding states and international travelWill require frequent standing, occasional bending, squatting, climbing, twisting, balancing and reaching Will have exposure to noise, vibrations, well-treating chemicals, glycol, methanol, gasoline, natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons Will often work alone with minimum supervision

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering 5+ years of experience in the electrical & controls engineering field Must possess a valid driver’s license and have an acceptable driving record Proven regular attendance Demonstrated competency in electronic engineering Well versed in Microsoft office programs SQL Database knowledge preferredPay will depend on experience.
