Go to www.cray.com for more information.Lead customer service software analyst / System engineer for Cray Inc. support team at the Navo site in Stennis Space Center, MS. Provide primarily software and some hardware technical support and maintenance for a Cray Inc. massively parallel (MPP) computer system. Analyze system software and hardware issues, effect repair or workaround when possible, escalate problems to product support groups and appropriate management, to effect a timely resolution of system or customer issues. Must be able to successfully execute the Acceptance Test Plan per contract.Requires a minimum of 8 years of HPC related customer / user support experience.Requires a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. Must possess excellent customer relations, problem management and project leadership skills. Working knowledge of Linux system administration, kerberos environment, Lustre filesystems, PBS, C and shell script programming. Awk and perl highly desireable. Must have or be able to acquire a DoD Secret clearance. Occassional travel for training or to help support remote systems. Must be willing to share on-call duties with other staff to provide 7x24 support.HPC experience
