As an Engineering Lab Manager you will responsible for leading a team of Rework and Electronic Technicians which support Graphics Board Design and Validation teams. This team will provide support through the development and release to manufacturing stages for new board-level Graphics products. You will be working in a highly dynamic, exciting engineering environment responsible for the most challenging GPU designs in the world. Responsibilities:Lab management: Manage a medium size team of Rework Technicians and assign work priorities and provide training. Ordering, Setup, and maintaining lab equipment Maintaining inventory control of lab equipment using MS EXCEL. Building, and maintaining PCs (HW, cloning drives, keeping SW up to date) Working with and supporting engineers Creating and maintaining web based documentation Resource planning Technical: Reading Schematics (CAD based and on paper) Board bring-up, BIOS updating, test and debug Executing detailed Test Plans for Validating the Interfaces on Graphics Products (Power supplies, PCI Express, Analog / Digital Video, etc) Entering Test data into a Database Working with and supporting engineers Creating and maintaining web based documentation Working with custom test diagnostic software, help to identify any potential issues. Minimum Requirements:Must have an AA or AS plus 8 years of experience in electronic circuits Excellent rework skills ( including BGA, ROHS, etc) and understanding of electronic circuits Experienced with using high speed scopes and proper probing techniques while executing board level test plans. Must be able to work independently and have very good communication skills (written and spoken) Highly organized. Flexible and “Can-Do” attitude. Must have managed a team of 6+ technicians Preferred Qualifications:Experience with High Speed Signal Integrity debug techniques (ex. Eye diagrams, etc) and Switching Power Supplies. EOE
