Enterprise Content Management Specialist - IBM Content Manager

We have a full-time opportunity on our growing national Software Consulting team for an individual with proven technical implementation and development skills with IBM Content Manager software.  This customer-facing, consulting role will provide Content Management application development, installations, administration, and support to our clients, and will involve an average of 75% travel to customer sites. This position could be based out of most major cities in the US.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

√Provide installation, configuration, development, documentation, testing, and support to our clients via Services delivery, including (but not limited to):

· Administration and configuration of Content Manager for iSeries, Content Manager OnDemand, Content Manager Enterprise Edition, Kofax Ascent Capture, Kofax Ascent Capture for Internet Server.

· Developing and/or modifying applications using, JavaScript, II4C RPG/ILE, COBOL/ILE, Visual Basic, SBL, as determined by client needs 

· Developing interfaces to other application systems

· Testing applications for data integrity, performance, and usability

· Documenting completed application development, installation, and configuration work for the client 

· Maintaining technical specifications throughout development process

· Installing, configuring, and/or administering application servers such as iSeries and MultiPlatform.



Knowledge and Skills:

· Experience as a member of a technical project team, from design through delivery

· Strong technical skills with IBM Content Manager software 

· Strong application development and/or administration skills in at least one of the following: Java, II4C, JavaScript, RPG/ILE, COBOL/ILE, Visual Basic, SBL, or other application environments as determined by client needs

· Knowledge of WAF for iSeries

· Database knowledge in DB2 or other enterprise-class RDBMS

· Knowledge of operating systems including Windows, i5/OS

· Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential problems and make appropriate changes as necessary

· Ability to work closely with clients and deal with them in a professional manner

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Passion and confidence in this field

· Excellent interpersonal skills

· Demonstrated creditworthiness

 

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, OR a 2 year degree and 3+ years relevant experience, AND/OR equivalent combination of education and experience

· Two or more years full software lifecycle project experience, preferably in a consulting environment



Travel:

· Travel to various client locations and some weekend work required – quantity varies by location

· Current driver’s license required

· Air travel capability required
