Federal Tax ManagerLarge Tech Company - South Bay$130k + bonusThe Federal Tax Manager will be part of the US Tax team responsible for the Federal income tax return.  The US Tax Team is responsible for federal and state income tax, international compliance, IRS audits, State audits and property tax.  Opportunities exist to be part of the full life cycle from planning, provision, compliance and audit.  This position interfaces with business groups, finance, controllership, and tax functions within the Company offering a portfolio of challenging work and related projects.  Primary Job Responsibilities: -Responsible for the US Federal consolidated income tax return reporting requirements, extensions, estimated tax payments. -Responsible for certain aspects of the quarterly and annual tax provision requirements under FAS109 and FIN48. -Perform tax research as well as effects of proposed and newly enacted legislation, court cases, etc.  Support special projects such as tax planning, MD&A activity, SOX, etc. -Assist with the IRS audit -Manage, motivate and lead a three person team along with foreign Income Tax hub to achieve results as well as develop technical and leadership skills within the team. Qualifications / Required Skills: -BA/BS Degree in Accountancy -CPA and / or MS in Tax strongly preferred -10 - 15 years progressively responsible federal corporate income tax experience in industry and / or large accounting firm -Excellent analytical and leadership skills -Experience with FAS123R preferred -Experience with Oracle, CorpTax, CrossBorder Solutions -Must be hardworking, self-starting and performance oriented. -Strong managerial and interpersonal skills and leadership, mentoring and motivational skills. -Superior judgment skills regarding the concept of materiality and all facets of business. -Excellent oral and written communication skills.If interested in this position, please forward resume to kate.dwyer@parkerlynch.com Company: Parker and Lynch Status: Full Time, Employee Location: Silicon Valley, CA Salary: USD 130,000.00 /year Job Category: Accounting/Finance/Insurance Career Level: Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Work Experience: 10+ to 15 Years Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
