JOB TITLE: Field Escalation Manager LOCATION: Shrewsbury,MA
COMPANY: provides a disk-based backup solution with byte-level data de-duplication designed to easily fit into existing data centers and deliver results right out of the box.
DESCRIPTION: Client is seeking a customer support field escalation manager with Linux, Windows, backup applications and hardware experience. The successful candidate will:
· Provide remote support services for customers and field personnel
· Provide onsite assistance and training to customers with installations
· Manage escalations, develop and implement customer specific action plans
· Work well in a startup environment
· Travel up to 40%
REQUIREMENTS:
· A BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· Minimum two years of Linux administration
· Minimum two years Windows administration
· Strong trouble shooting skills
· Backup Applications (BackupExec, ARCserv, Netbackup, Galaxy, TSM)
· Scripting (Perl, shells)
· Networking and networked storage technologies
