In this position you will support ongoing compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act through the completion of transactional audits, evaluation of internal controls at multiple locations and participate in the continued improvement of process through execution of compliance and operational audits. Expected to build positive relationships and provide quality service to internal and external client business functions.

Duties & Responsibilities Participate in ongoing SOX compliance activities Perform walkthroughs of financial processes Participate in evaluation of internal control design Performance of transactional testing Update supplemental 404 documentation as required (flowcharts, etc) Maintenance of SOX audit plans, work papers, etc. Documentation of audit findings and recommendations, etc. Develop strong business relationships with client business functions. Participate in special projects, compliance or operational audits as assigned. Discuss control remediation status with process owners. Assist in testing to support external audit teams, as required.

Candidate Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. 1-2 years experience in internal audit, public accounting or corporate accounting environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Have sufficient knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, internal controls, COSO and the Sarbanes Oxley Act to effectively conduct essential duties described above. Desire to pursue CIA or other certification.
