Pacific Component Xchange (PCX Inc.) is an expanding US-based independent stocking distributor of electronic components and ICs with over 92,000 line items and 675 million parts in stock. PCX is headquartered at our primary distribution center (a 55,000 square foot ESD-compliant facility) located in Huntington Beach, CA. PCX is actively recruiting highly motivated professionals to become a part of a dynamic organization and industry.
The OEM/CEM Sales position has primary responsibility for managing and maintaining client businesness relationships and developing new accounts via telephone with once weekly face to face visits as well. This position reports directly to the OEM/CEM sales manager. The sales audience includes: C-level, Senior Executives, VP's, Managers, Planners, Purchasing Agents, and/or Engineers, at private, public OEMs, CEMs, and Franchised Distributors (medium-sized companies up to Fortune 500). PCX is seeking only proactive, innovative and enthusiastic individuals for an exciting and rewarding position.
OBJECTIVES:
*Maintain PCX core values and principles while managing and growing customer base as well as cultivating and nurturing existing customers
*Develop existing accounts to maximize sales efforts
*Prospect and develop new accounts from a combination of assigned sales leads and existing contacts via telephone
*Identify and qualify new business opportunities so that the qualified pipeline measurably exceeds metrics in any given month
*Build positive customer relationships with key decision makers and influencers
*Deliver sales presentations to key customers to help foster retention, penetration and development as either the primary or secondary independent source of electronic components
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE:
*Strong desire to succeed, attention to detail, and the ability to pursue sales goals relentlessly
*Excellent written, verbal, telephone and presentation skills
*High Energy
*Must be results driven, proactive, and self motivated
*Strong organizational skills and time management required
*Minimum 2 years of sales experience preferred with proven sales track record to OEM, CEM and Distributor clients with experience selling to purchasing and senior management clients
*In lieu of the previous requirement, individuals with 3 years of proven success in an unrelated field will be considered
*BA/BS desired but not required
*Strong account penetration skills including needs analysis, consultative selling and closing business opportunities
*OEM/CEM and/or distribution sales experience is a plus but not required
*Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel Outlook and have a willingness to learn new applications
*Strong and proven success building relationships and loyalty as well as be efficient and effective in customer development
*Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and have the ability to adapt as necessary to client needs
*Passionate about the success and support of customers, fellow employees and the company
*Proven ability to successfully thrive in ambiguous market conditions
Location: Huntington Beach
Compensation: 36-48K base plus generous commissions and amazing benefits. Top Earners make over 250K+ per year.
